Q: I have paid my subscription, how long will it take before I get my first copy? A: The start time for subscriptions will vary according to the publishers own policy. The list below gives you an approximate start for the titles currently on our list of magazines. Please see each title in the magazines section for precise information about delivery times. Nordic process and forward orders to publishers the week they are received. Please note that the delivery times listed on our site refers to the date we receive your payment. US Publishers: Frequently, US monthly titles take up to 16 weeks to start delivery. This is because the publishers will only print as many copies of the magazine as there are customers who have a subscription. Subscriber labels are run one or two months before the issue is printed. For example, if you pay in January, you may not get into the subscription label run until March. British and European publishers: British & European publishers depend less on subscription sales and more on the news trade for their sale. This means that the subscribers can be added quickly to the magazine print order without any great additional cost to the publisher. This is reflected in a typical delivery time of 4 to 10 weeks.
Q: My subscription is about to expire and now I have received a renewal invoice from both Nordic and the publisher, what am I to do? A: Some time before your current subscription expires, Nordic will send you an offer to continue your subscription with us -- and so will the publishers. Unfortunately we cannot prevent the publisher from sending you a renewal invoice as well, but if you would like to take advantage of our services in the future, we kindly ask you to pay the renewal invoice from Nordic and disregard the one from the publisher.
